Found People Inc. operates as a boutique recruitment and Executive Search firm collecting personal information necessary for providing services to our clients. In choosing to provide us with personal information, an individual has indicated his/her willingness to disclose this information to Found People Inc, and to be considered, when appropriate, for recruitment opportunities offered by our clients. As part of our business, when we feel an individual would be an appropriate candidate for a position with one of our clients, we request the individual’s permission to disclose his/her personal information to that client.

In the course of providing services to our clients, we also collect personal information from third parties, such as individuals’ previous employers, in order to verify candidates’ credentials. We perform reference checks and, possibly, background checks on behalf of our clients. We collect and disclose to clients such information as is necessary for these purposes.

Maintaining the confidentiality of personal information is a key principle upon which our business is based. Except as described in this policy, or as permitted or required by law, we do not disclose an individual’s personal information without first obtaining his/her consent to do so.

We will endeavor to ensure that individual personal information in our possession is accurate, complete, current, and reliable for its intended use. We will also strive to protect that information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, and alteration in accordance with the current Federal Privacy Legislation known as PIPEDA (Person Information Protection and Electronic Document Act).
