Director of Delivery and Development
Leading Canadian agency seeks to “up” its digital horsepower by adding a Delivery & Development visionary. The Director of Delivery and Development will partner with Creative & Brand leads to ensure digital programs are technically perfect & flawlessly executed.

Key Responsibilities:
•Work with senior leadership to define core offerings and continued cycle of innovation within the marketplace
•Work with brand leaders to define new product/service requirements to support clients
•Manage, evaluate and build a platform development/technology team that is in line with the organization’s business needs and objectives
•Manage existing platforms and lead the ongoing developments to support increased value to customers
•Ensure any/all work the team develops is of the highest quality & flawlessly executed
•Be strategic and tactical when necessary
•Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of staff according to budgetary objectives and HR policies
•Ensure team has clear objectives, roles / responsibilities and growth path that align with business objectives, and their career objectives
•Ensure our code is beautiful, clean & we are proud to put the agency’s name in it
•Ensure PMs are policing/owning timelines with a mind to producing outstanding work
•Be capable & comfortable having client-direct relationships, both from a day to day presence and business development perspective

Position Requirements:
•B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or equivalent
•Bachelor’s degree required (MBA or other Masters preferred) and 7-10 years’ experience of IT development
•Experience with digital marketing
•Act as a leader and agent for engagement, innovation and a positive work environment
•Experience with development of mobile and/or social media platforms of benefit
•Strategic thinker and innovative problem-solver
